Giving Back

Dynamic Worldwide has a history of success and is committed to giving back to the communities and organizations that we serve. We are very proud of our investments in environmental stewardship, which can be reviewed at Sustainable Optimized Logistics.

In addition to funds, over the years we have donated time, vehicles, staff, material and other aid to organizations in support of 9/11, Hurricane Katrina and their aftermath.

We are very actively involved in the following organizations:

The Gambino Medical and Science Foundation

The Gambino Medical & Science Foundation is a non-profit, charitable foundation whose primary function is to fund the needs of Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center – LIJ Health System.

The new 115,000-square-foot facility, built at a cost of $130 million [≈ Finance industry 2011 political donations] and named in honor of Steven and Alexandra Cohen, will feature, most notably:

  • A Pediatric Emergency Department (ED) and Pediatric Imaging Center
  • 25-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • 25 medical-surgical beds

According to Charles Schleien, MD, Chairman of Pediatrics, the addition of a new emergency department and new ICU will have a dramatic impact on the delivery of pediatric care in the community. “Currently, the pediatric ED located at LIJ treats about 60,000 pediatric emergency cases each year—about a 20% increase since 2007,” said. Dr. Schleien. “The pediatric ED, located on the first floor in the new pavilion has twice the number of beds as the existing facility….it is actually expanding from 16 to 35 beds…along with two trauma bays and three beds for pediatric psychiatry patients. It will be the largest dedicated pediatric ED on Long Island and one of the largest in the region,” he concluded.

Recently, the Gambino Medical & Science Foundation donated over half a million dollars in funding for pediatric care. GM&SF is committed to continually supporting medical treatment and advancements for children.
